Andaman and Nicobar Islands are these magnificent cluster of more than 500 small Islands in which there are roughly 300 Islands alone in Andaman. Situated in the Indian Ocean, these Islands are Paradisal. Coral blue waters, White sands, swimming elephants, exotic marine life, mouth water delicacies and much more, this place is a perfect location for planning a vacation. If you are already convinced and looking for a holiday package to Andaman, have a look at different seasons in Andaman and what it’s like out there during the year. The weather mainly remains constant all year round with moderate variations and typically is very pleasant.
Summer (April – July)
The summers in Andaman is not as hot as some other parts of India. The temperature stays between 24 degrees to 37 degrees with moderate winds at times. The weather stays pleasant throughout the summer and there is good amount of sunlight to spend some time at the beach. You can visit almost all of the places including Port Blair, Clique Islands, Long Island, Little Andaman, Havelock Island, Diglipur and Smith and Ross Islands.
Monsoon (July – September)
The monsoon in Andaman starts in the month of July and stays still the month of September. You can visit Andaman at this time to experience the rain on the Beach which is spectacular in itself. The drawback is you cannot indulge in any of the water sports. The temperature remains between 22 degrees to 35 degrees.
Winter (October – March)
The winter is not like winters at all and more like spring season. The temperature stays between 20 degrees to 30 degrees Celsius. According to me, this is the best time to visit Andaman, as it is relatively cool with good amount of sunshine only for a brief period. In this perfect weather you can enjoy various activities like banana rides, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, paragliding, and trekking.
